Urgent Appeal for Rice
For Needy Natives in Remote Sabah

KYCO-CSP has been providing Compassionate Food Aid for the poor Sea Natives living off the remote coastal areas, Sabah, with rice and including cooked food occasionally.
With the kind help of Friends of CSP, the project also involves the active support of Heads of Kampong, Villagers, Boatmen & Transporters who bring the much needed bags of rice to these needy families, mostly made up of orphans, widows, aged and sick, who were left behind by their menfolk who have gone out to sea and hardly returned and those in search of work in far off places.
These families who have been living the traditional way of lives of their forefathers are cut off from mainstream lives, uneducated and often live in harsh conditions without a means of income and sustainable livelihood.
In response to the urgent appeal, KYCO-CSP on humanitarian grounds are preparing to make available bags of rice to be distributed in the next 10 days to these needy families living in hardship.
We are hoping for your continued kindness & generosity to feed these needy orphans, widows, aged & sick by contributing bags of rice. Each bag (5kg) is RM21 including transportation to these remote coastal villages.

KYCO-CSP wish to add that while the bags of rice will be ordered, and arranged to be transported to the Needy Natives in remote Sabah, the distribution of cooked food is underway, as seen in the below pictures just received
We are immensely thankful for all who are responding to the Urgent Appeal for rice, we hope that the blessings of your kind and caring heart and generosity are multiplied billion folds today as it said that the effects of positive deeds are multiplied 10 billion times today
Because today is Llabab Duchen, Tibetans celebrate Buddha Sakyamuni's descent from heaven to the human world to promote Buddhism
