Student ZC: A Virtual Tour of his Home

Student ZC: A Virtual Tour of his Home

The senior students, beneficiaries of the generous support from  KYCO members & friends of CSP—ranging from small monthly contributions to larger donations—have created videos to update you about themselves as their way to express their gratitude for our well wishes & collective kindness.

Student ZC,  who has been enlisted in our Education Assistance Programme since his primary school days in 2013, is now nearing the completion of his second year in a Diploma of Computer Science, excelling academically. Initially, he was PROFOUNDLY introverted, struggling to respond to anyone except myself and later, DHwa and KCLee. He would freeze when spoken to, never answered, often appearing to ignore others or give responses that seemed out of context and stay far away from everyone.

Through years of patient guidance and unwavering support—literally, extending a helping hand—with the constant hope that he would achieve self-sufficiency, he has made remarkable progress. Over fifteen years, his quiet determination, his 'inner drive,' has propelled him forward in his academic pursuits, and is confidence enough to be able to  share a video relating to his life. The wish for some like him to do well  so that he may care for himself and his family is the key to today's result and for us to be able to  witness how kindness can transform others .. albeit it's years to truly be able to see progress. (In general the students in our Education Assistance Programme are from less desirable families and environment...these being the challenges)

From not being able to do even a video to communicate, he has the confidence to put up a video on himself... now
