One of the 2 families that is shown here, is that of a woman named R. She is navigating life’s tough challenges with her two young children, facing difficulties that would test anyone’s strength. Tragically, a devastating fire when she was a young child engulfed her parent's home, destroying their wooden/zinc roof home. As a result all of their critical personal documents were gone. Without any official identification, life is a hurdle and fill with complications.
Living in a makeshift home with a patched-up zinc roof, this family relies heavily on the kindness of individuals like you. R's husband has faced his own struggles, frequently in and out of incarceration, leaving her to shoulder the responsibilities of the household alone. With no formal education, R works part-time as a cleaner, which barely covers their basic needs. Thank you.
