Appeal for Rice/ distribution of cooked food For Needy Sea Natives in Remote Sabah

In response to the appeal by the families & village heads, KYCO-CSP, accepted on humanitarian grounds to distribute bags of rice to the Needy Sea Natives living in remote coastal areas in Sabah next week from 12 July - 20 July.
As per previous distributions, we will enlist the kind help from Friends of CSP, & support of Heads of Kampong, Villagers, Boatmen & Transporters who will bring the needed bags of rice to these needy families, mostly made up of orphans, widows, aged & sick, who are left behind by their menfolk who went in search of work in far off towns and hardly returned home.
Being cut off from the mainstream society, often uneducated, with no means of steady jobs and income, they continue to live a hard life in the harshest of conditions in these far-off remote areas.
We warmly welcome and would love for you to join us by contributing any amount to purchase bags of rice for these poor natives.
Each bag (5 kg) is about rm 25 inclusive of transport to the remote villages.
