Workshop on Basic Cooking Skills As Part of Living Skills - Day 2

The 8 CSP Junior Students participated in the Basic Cooking Skills As Part of Living Skills Workshop 2 on Sunday, 19/1/25 from 9:00am till 6:00pm. Workshop 2 covered Baking Skills Part 1.

They made their own breakfast, Luncheon Meat Fried Rice. 

In the Baking Session, they were broken into 2 Groups; one Group made Cornflakes Cookies and the other Group made Chocolate Chip Cookies.

They learnt how to read the Recipes and do multiple amounts from the Basic Recipe. They also learnt about measurements for the ingredients from using the weighing machine, to using cups, then using the Cake Mixer and packing the Cookies into Bottles, labelled with CNY Greetings.

They presented the  Chocolate Chip Cookies and Corn Flakes Cookies they baked to their Parents, but also allocated for:

1) Sifu & Simoh, 1 bottle of each type of Cookie;

2) 1 bottle of the 2 types of Cookies (mixed) for:

 😊 Teacher GohTB

(Teacher Lilian will be sharing the Cookies with their other Mentor Teachers)

Their day ended with Basketball 😊

In the background, supporting this Workshop was my Sister, Elizabeth.G, who doubled up as Instructor for the Cornflakes Cookies, Photographer and for the Video Creation. Senior CSP Students TZYong and TCXiang assisted in the transporting the Junior Students and also in organising the Basketball Session for them.
