The students under the KYCO - CSP Education Assistance Program brought a bit of Cheer to 2 Shelter Homes near Sg Choh.
1. One is a home for many who are blind, partial blind, deaf, basically like many homes, it houses those with OKU status and needed Care.
2. Another home that house once abused and abandoned mothers and children, abandoned homeless who were once living on the streets, the sick and abandoned mentally ill.
The CSP students brought along food they prepared, cup cakes, agar agar in cups, red eggs which gave them great pleasure as they have not eaten red eggs for ages and ages.
Biscuits, diapers, provisions etc which they need. Biscuits are their daily breakfast. Most are too unwell and prefer just simple food they are familiar with..... biscuits and coffee/ tea are their favourite. They ate biscuits, tea/ coffee breakfast and tea times.
Update on continuing to guide the students into giving care for others by members who volunteer their time.

Current update
We are guiding the older students whom you have provided help these 11 years to help to give help back to society.
1) For easy assess and convenient, they revisit to selected outskirts Shelter Homes to bring Cheer as a mean of " knowing" about life .
2) They have started on their own to manage distribution of food to the needy families with the help of their former tution principal Ms Yp and us behind the scenes. Families collect from this Tadika which is " Friend of CSP" for convenience in logistics.
3) More difficult is to visiting individual families in urban poor areas. especially if these families are not cluster together eg they do not all stay in ' low cost " flats, but in "kampong village".
They have visited in group on selected families near their own homes to review the needs of these families. It's for them to 'see' that those who are representatives who came to collect the distribution of provisions at the Tadika are always well and dressed decently but their living conditions and family 's health are something that should bring out kindness in the students. And to understand that we too have limitation in helping and difficulties of life is with everyone . With limited wisdom to reflect on theirs and others situation too and the limitation of what we do except for minimum material comfort and kind thoughts/ prayers.
4) They will engage to create videos that as part of the documentation of their visits. Suitable pieces will be selected and uploaded to the space allocated to the CSP website ( currently being upgraded by a team )
Expect the students to make more videos of their visits.
They will make videos suitable for their own social media for YOUTH category 🙂😁, so feel young.
I hope eventually they will get their young friends to check our website too as we intend to give them space for the uploading of selected videos
