Food For People Living on the Streets

KYCO-CSP has been providing cooked food for People Living on the Streets since before COVID pandemic and the frequency for our Cooked Food Distribution has returned to weekly to fulfill the request by especially the unwell who are amongst those needing food.
This is in response to the increasing number of people who are living on the streets as we are also seeing an upsurge and longer lines of those who come to receive our KYCO-CSP cooked food.
Joining those abandoned elderly & families, and mentally unwell are more and more younger adults. They include those struggling working adults who don't earn much and couldn't afford the increasingly expensive room rental; those with mental illnesses; drug dependents; poor hospital patients from out of town and currently receiving rehabilitation and treatment from Public Hospitals but have to stay at halfway Houses; and those living in Halfway Houses that provide free, temporary short term accommodation.
The homeless, both adults and families are facing harsh conditions, not just in need of food.
As related to KC Chu recently by a Doctor, one of these homeless ( vagabond) was scheduled for an eye surgery and free implant lenses were arranged for him but unfortunately he was knocked down and killed on the road before his surgery due to very bad eye sight.
KYCO-CSP is immensely grateful to all, for your deep kindness and all who have made it possible for us to continue to give a bit of food to our downtrodden fellow beings
We hope to continue your kindness to distribute food hopefully on a weekly basis and by adding a bit more nutrition, at least an egg.
