Lembah Subang: How Your Generosity Supports Families in Need

Update

KYCO-CSP Welfare Aid & Food Distribution
Lembah Subang PPR Indian Families
9.9.2025

Grateful thanks to KYCO-CSP, kind Donors and Sponsors, you have made it possible for The KYCO - CSP Lembah Subang Team Members to continue to visit the poor Indian Families facing hardships & painful changes of life

We brought along a bit of care and cheers with the much awaited food and provisions

Among the 6 Indian families visited, 3 are new families who have also fallen on hard times

3 are existing families whom we have been supporting for over a year

Sad to inform that one of the families, Mariayee who was bed-ridden from stroke had recently passed on 4 Sept 2025. We are thankful  to be present in her last stage of life.

A second family, 19 yo single mother, Kavisha, with  2 kids, one is a new born had shifted to KL to stay with relatives.

Below are the 3 new families that KYCO-CSP has now started to support:

1. Mageswari , 48 yo
Single parent with 3 kids:18,15 &12yo. She is in dire straits having to stop work due to heart problem. Her 18yo son has been having difficulty getting a job for months while her 2 younger children are schooling

2. Kalaiselvi , 38yo
She had stopped work due to severe asthmatic problems. Her husband works irregularly as a premix worker in construction site, hence income is low and unstable Their two school-going children aged 14 & 11yo are also asthmatic and on medication too

3. Munian, 71yo
Suffered a stroke and has been bedridden for 2 years. Needing special milk powder through tube feeding. Wife who was sole carer expressed need for special milk powder and adult diapers

Sister Kim added some cheers to these families too with some small goody bag gifts.

It is painful for the team to see many of these disadvantaged Indian families struggling with daily survival and painful cycle of hardships- made more vulnerable by illness & loss of job of main breadwinner & who is often the single mother. They are further burdened by inability to find work due to low skill & low education. The rising cost of living, schooling & medical expenses compound their misery. A few families visited could not afford even a chair, table nor beds as we saw many of their living halls & bedroom  bare and empty

KYCO-CSP could mainly help by providing them a bit of relief with the needed food & essentials to tide them over their difficult times and we pray for a turnaround of their harsh lives

On their behalf, we wish to thank all kind Donors, Sponsors and KYCO-CSP again for your deep kindness and generous contributions

Thank you and Gan Ern.
