CSP-Edu Project for Poor Tamil Students

Starting April 2024 KYCO-CSP will collaborate with Friends of CSP to help enable poor Tamil Students in Lembah Subang, Selangor to receive free tuition and some caring help and guidance.
This Project is initiated by Friends of CSP who have asked for financial help from CSP for these poor children who come from poor and large families that are facing hard times and are unable to provide the care and educational assistance for their young children, mostly in Primary and Lower Secondary schools.
The free tuition has already started with the first batch of 10-12 children and will continue every Saturday in the premise provided free by a nearby church. 2-3 Volunteer teachers are giving them tuition on core subjects like BM, English, Maths and Science.
KYCO-CSP will help to provide a bit of financial assistance to enable these poor Tamil Students to continue with their free tuition, not only for educational needs which they are in dire need of as many of them are unable to read nor write well, but to also occupy their time productively, preventing them from falling into bad influences and social ills.
We will provide small token sums monthly as a contribution towards their educational needs, tuition facilities and stationeries.
Additionally, KYCO-CSP Members have also planned to visit and provide welfare provisions, to the poor families, giving basics like rice and cooking oil to feed their large families.
For the success of this program to continue into the future, we greatly welcome your kind participation to lend some cheers and uplift the spirit of this underserved community
